Legendary coach, John Madden began his successful, but short career after being hired by the Oakland Raiders in 1969. From 1969 to 1978, Madden coached the Raiders and posted a record of 112-39-7 including the postseason.
He missed the playoffs just twice in his ten seasons and had a winning record every season. He is one of just 43 coaches in NFL history to win 100 games or more and took the fewest games to accomplish the feat. Madden has a winning percentage of .759 and won one Super Bowl in 1976. He also reached the AFC Championship game 7 times and has cemented his legacy as one of the greatest coaches of all time.
